I took this photo wondering if it was me, or not

I really did.

I also left it overnight before submitting.

It doesn't have people in it.

The composition is, in my mind, average.

The colours are pretty :)

BUT

I still took it. It's still me. Just not the side you normally see ;)

Looking at photos from `garrit and others, really made me want to expand my photography, but without sacrificing some of the sides of it I love (e.g. Street). And seeing as you get stopped for being a terrorist if you take pictures inmy town (trust me, I know), I thought I might as well make the most of the scenery :)

Now the summer is coming up, and I've got some grad filters, you might see a bit more of this.

But hopefully more street as well.

Bands are fun. But there is little randomness involved.

And taking photos like this is an excuse for a good walk.

Walking, shooting, and reading. Life would be a whole lot worse without these.

Full view, pretend it's a window out onto a beautiful sunset, and relax

Minolta Dynax 5D, 28mm prime @ f/11, 0.8 seconds, ISO 80, using a cokin graduated density filter (ND4, I think) for the first time :)

It is truly beautiful the way you captured the soften of the light reflecting and the rocks just blending in. Wonderful (and of course it's you ... perhaps just a different side) :silentkitty:
